Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and well-spoken Inside Sales Representative to join our Team. The main focus of this position is to generate new quality leads, communicate with potential clients via email/telephone, follow up on inbound email/telephone inquiries, and ensure smooth sales process. The Inside Sales Representative’s tasks will include (but not limited to) locating new sales opportunities through tactics like cold-calling or building mailing lists, updating the CRM system on a regular basis w/ details of quality leads generated, and understanding potential clients’ needs and making effective pitches. You should also be able to join team meetings to discuss performance and provide updates to the company’s CEO.


  • Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Qualifying leads from digital platforms, references, etc.
  • Reach out to potential clients by sending out emails/chat/text
  • Cold Calling - to make multiple outbound calls to potential clients
  • Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
  • Understanding the clients’ needs and offering solutions and support
  • Presenting and delivering product information to potential clients
  • Answering potential clients’ follow-up questions via call/email
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance; Measuring success rate
  • Working with Sales Team to assist in closing sales
  • Maintaining list/database (CRM, Excel/spreadsheet, etc.) of prospective client information
  • Closing sales and working with the client through the closing process

Skills & Requirements

  • Must have an excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to connect and interact with potential customers
  • Must understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer
  • Must have an advanced experience in cold calling/inside sales (at least 1-2yrs of related experience)
  • Must be knowledgeable in sales process (from initiation to closing)
  • Must be persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Must be an excellent team player
  • Must know how to redirect a prospect’s objection
  • Must be tenacious in handling rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
  • High school degree or equivalent
