We are looking to hire enthusiastic and driven Outside Sales Representatives to generate leads and drive sales. This individual will be responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients through face-to-face interaction using his skills in deal closing, direct sales, B2B sales, and niche marketing to demonstrate to leads just our products can benefit their bottom line.
The Outside Sales Representative's responsibilities include (but not limited to) submitting regular sales reports to management, informing potential and existing customers of product features and benefits, and resolving customer complaints. You must also create persuasive sales proposals to customers to encourage sales and maintain current business. Ultimately, an exceptional outside sales representative should be able to demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills to continually meet or exceed sales targets.
Travel to service areas to represent the company and achieve the assigned goal
Make outbound calls to sell company products
Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
Support customers after initial sales to ensure satisfaction and realize opportunities for further sales
Building and sustaining strong and successful relationships with new and existing clients
Manage an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, and how they can benefit our customers
Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and recommend improvements to boost performance to the sales team
Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events
Skills & Requirements
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to connect and interact with potential customers
Proven track record of outside sales experience, particularly in a B2B environment, is preferred (at least 1-2yrs of related experience)
Must have an excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to connect and interact with potential customers
Must understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers
Strong negotiating, planning, and consultative sales skills
Experience with common customer management relationship software and platforms
Must know how to redirect a prospect’s objection
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
